We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Haltom City, Texas. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with an emphasis on month-end closing, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in general ledger management and demonstrate a commitment to delivering accurate financial insights.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and recording of transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries to support financial operations.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage bank reconciliations and ensure alignment with company records.
• Handle job costing procedures to ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation practices.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and job costing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in job costing is required with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
