Additional requirements include : \n
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire. BLS certification; ACLS certification.\n
• This position requires 4-6 years recent hospital experience in which an advanced level of leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills has been demonstrated. Previous management experience preferred\n\nWhat you will do\n
• The Administrative Supervisor is primarily responsible for representing Administration on their assigned shifts, communicating administrative concerns and implementing hospital policy.\n
• They may assist Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse with staffing and the allocation of staff to meet workload demands; coordinates placement of float staff; collaborates with Directors and Nurse Managers / Unit Manager on operational issues and serves as a resource to internal and external customers.\n
• Functions as a mediator between internal departments to facilitate patient care by resolving issues / problems.\n\nAbout our Health System\n\nNorth Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical / surgical inpatient units; short-stay surgery units.
