Additional requirements include : \nBasic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.\nACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.\nRequires one to three years of work experience. The RN will execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.\nThe RN functions as a patient advocate representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts.\nThe RN evaluates response to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.\nAbout our Health System\nNorth Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical / surgical inpatient units; and
