Qualifications
The CBEDepartment encourages applications from candidates with an interest in establishing research programs with sustainable engineering applications, with emphasis on, but not limited to, the following areas :
Experimental chemical engineering and materials science research on heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis and electrocatalysis, polymer circularity and upcycling, polymers for applications in chemical separations, water purification, resource recovery from waste streams, or electrochemical conversions. Transdisciplinary and collaborative approaches are encouraged.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, environmental engineering, or a related discipline. A distinguished record of scholarship, leadership, curricular innovation, entrepreneurship, and an excellent funding record are desired from senior candidates, while junior candidates must demonstrate clear potential to achieve the same. All candidates must demonstrate or show potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring.
