Director of Security Engineering

A company is looking for a Director of Security Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a high-performing team of security engineers and oversee the security engineering budget

Collaborate with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to implement regulatory requirements into engineering controls

Develop and implement the company's security vision and roadmap, focusing on security best practices and incident response

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in information security or a related field

Industry-leading security certification, such as CISSP, CISM, or CSSLP

Deep experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security

Proven experience leading and managing a team of security engineers

Extensive knowledge of web application security and secure coding practices
