Telecom Drafter

Job Description

Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Telecom Drafter to join their team. This position focuses on transforming initial rough product designs into accurate, detailed working documents using AutoCAD. The role also includes reviewing engineering drawings and designs to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. Collaboration with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original and final designs is a key part of the position.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop working documents from rough product designs using CAD software.

Review and verify engineering drawings and designs for accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with design originators to address and resolve discrepancies.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience using AutoCAD.

At least 2 years of experience in OSP Fiber drafting (Utility drafting experience will also be considered).

Preferred Qualifications :

Degree in CAD, GIS, or Civil Engineering.

Experience with QGIS.

Competitive pay with no change upon conversion to full-time. Time with Selectek counts towards service reviews, and PTO allocation is based on experience. Hourly Range : $23.00-$25.00

Shift and Hours : Monday- Friday 8 AM- 5 PM
