Position : Girls Beach Volleyball Head Coach

Location : Pinnacle High School

Type : Temporary, Full-time (FTE : 1.0)

Season Dates : 2 / 9 / 2026 - 5 / 9 / 2026

Salary : $3,625.00

Qualifications and Requirements

  • All coaches must be a district-approved volunteer. Please also apply for the volunteer roles listed.

Purpose of the Role

The Head Coach designs and implements the athletic program, supervises coaching staff and students, and acts as a liaison with other schools and organizations. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the athletic program, serving as a positive role model, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess student athletes and provide performance feedback.
  • Develop practice routines and game strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor coaching staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain records and ensure student eligibility.
  • Promote the program and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure safety and uphold the district's athletic code of conduct.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Substitute Certificate, or NFHS Level 2 Certificate.
  • Experience in coaching or athletic program management.

    • Physical and Other Requirements

    Must be able to perform physical activities related to coaching and supervision. Clearances required include a criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
