Candidates should have an understanding of not only hard news but entertainment and celebrity culture. Knowledge of NYC and environs preferred but not essential.

Primary responsibilities:

• Cover breaking news stories and spend time working out of the City Hall and police bureaus and various courthouses.

• Deliver fast, accurate information from the field: including but not limited to crime scenes, fires, and press conferences

Qualifications:

• Must have great news judgment.

• The ability to work independently.

• A passion for anything news related!

• Bilingual in Spanish and/or having a car is a plus
