Position Overview :

We are seeking an exceptional Ordering Specialist to support transformative projects at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Be part of a mission that not only advances technology but also ensures the safety, security and efficiency of U.S. aviation on a grand scale. The Ordering Specialist will work with FAA programs and the prime vendor to place and track service orders accurately.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Coordinate network service order requests with engineering, finance, and contracts teams
• Work with systems engineers to create cost estimates and coordinate with finance team to ensure availability of funding and timely placement of funds on the contract
• Collaborate with customers and the on-ramping team to create ordering packages and process all orders
• Work collaboratively with the contracts team to develop all necessary contractual documents
• Work with prime network vendor ordering service to ensure accuracy of request and assist in any revisions and negotiations between the FAA and the prime vendor
• Create and maintain ordering tracking sheets and prepare briefings when needed to bring status updates to all stakeholders
