Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Calculate wage adjustments, garnishments, and deductions as needed.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure proper reporting of new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
- Generate payroll reports for management analysis and budgeting purposes.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on payroll compliance regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of payroll processes.Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel; experience with other accounting tools is a plus.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees and management.Benefits
