Emergency Services & Security Field Technician

Kelly Project Services , a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Emergency Safety & Security Field Technician for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Orange, TX . OVERVIEW

Key responsibilities include the protection of company assets by : supporting first responders with, fires, spills, hazardous materials incidents, medical emergencies, confined space and elevated rescues, and security incidents; operation of key emergency response equipment and systems, communication internally and externally including the activation of community notification systems; provide effective security services for the site; and investigating and documenting emergencies and security incidents.

Responsibilities :

• Support the monitoring and maintenance of site fire protection systems, emergency response, & security equipment
• Support implementation of site and facility emergency / security plan
• Communicate as per the Operating Discipline during normal conditions and emergency conditions.
• Use all relevant information systems to gather information on emergencies and communicates as required
• Cross-train in ES&S Field Technician role for potential off-shift response call-out to support on-shift ES&S responders in a site emergency or response to mutual aid emergency.
• Understand all relevant information systems to gather information on emergencies.
• Assist with Safety Equipment audits as well as Facility Safety requirements.
• Provide on-site support to first responders in the form of perimeter security, traffic and pedestrian control, etc.
• Coordination of existing Personal Safety and management systems programs
• Implementation of new or changing global Personal Safety standards and management systems and work processes.
• Supports Site broad compliance projects in accordance with assigned topics
