What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain awareness of activities within the location.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including guiding staff and / or visitors during incidents.

Document and report any unusual occurrences, security-related incidents, and / or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements :

Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.

Work assignments may include duties in the hospital morgue.

Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
