Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Account Executive to drive direct sales in the U.S. market. As an expert in retail technology and SaaS solutions, the Sr. Account Executive will proactively engage with mid-market and mid-enterprise clients, focusing on logistics managers, planners, and finance leaders (CFOs). The ideal candidate is a proven “hunter” with a background in retail tech, a deep understanding of client needs in logistics and finance, and a strong track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Sales Execution : Own the entire sales process, from prospecting and pipeline development through closing, focusing on direct sales to mid-market and mid-enterprise clients in the U.S. retail sector.
  • Client Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including logistics managers, planners, and CFOs, to ensure our solutions are positioned effectively to address their unique needs.
  • Market Expansion : Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the mid-market retail sector, driving client acquisition and market penetration.
  • Product Expertise : Act as a knowledgeable advisor on our platform, with a specific focus on the benefits of SaaS for retail tech and how it can solve key challenges in logistics and financial planning.
  • Sales Strategy : Collaborate with the Sales Director and other internal teams to develop targeted sales strategies and drive revenue growth in alignment with company objectives.
  • Pipeline Management : Proactively manage sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Travel Requirements : Travel as needed to engage with clients, attend industry events, and build our presence in the U.S. retail market.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 8 years in direct sales, with a proven track record in the retail technology and SaaS sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep expertise in selling to logistics managers, planners, and finance leaders (CFOs), with an understanding of their specific pain points and needs.
  • Sales Skills : Demonstrated “hunter” mentality with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing new business.
  • SaaS Expertise : Extensive experience with SaaS solutions and a strong understanding of its value proposition in retail technology.
  • Client Focused : Ability to build lasting relationships with mid-market and mid-enterprise clients and position solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Location : Based in the U.S., with a willingness to travel for client engagement.
