Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 7 years in the commercial HVAC industry. This role requires advanced technical expertise in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex HVAC systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to delivering top-tier service.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert-level service and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, split systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Lead or mentor junior technicians on service calls and installations.
• Install, calibrate, and upgrade HVAC components and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, building codes, and energy efficiency regulations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and internal teams regarding service findings and recommendations.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each job.
• Participate in emergency service rotations and respond to urgent calls as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00 / hr.
