Bi-Lingual Medical Assistant

Insight Global is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join one of your clients in Orange, CA. As the Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing both front and back office duties. Front office duties will include answering phone calls, directing patients, greeting patients, scheduling patients and more. You will be in charge of maintaining inventory and preparing patient rooms before they walk in. There will be some phlebotomy involved in this role, such as collecting and sending different specimens to the appropriate labs when needed.

Experience in an infusion clinic

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or another certifying agency or graduate from an accredited school

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Knowledge of Medical Coding and Billing

Experience conducting vital signs, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood and sterilizing cleaning equipment

Experience utilizing a EMR system

Bilingual in Spanish / English

Experience in an outpatient facility
