Summary
Hiring a Mechanical Assembler to build RF electronic hardware. Must read diagrams, follow documentation, and assemble small parts with precision. Experience with industry standards and safety practices required.
Job Responsibilities
Perform disassembly, modification, rework, reassembly, and testing of experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies in accordance with engineering specifications and simulated operational conditions.Communicate assembly and testing issues, drawing inaccuracies, and quality concerns to Engineering to support continuous improvement and prevent recurrence.Promote and uphold a culture centered on workplace safety, cleanliness, and adherence to environmental regulations.Build strong working relationships with peers to encourage collaboration and shared goals.Assemble small to medium-sized mechanical and electrical components with precision.Install connectors and wire harnesses as part of system builds.Utilize a variety of hand tools and torque tools to complete assembly tasks.Conduct cleaning, bonding, and measurement tasks to ensure quality and readiness of components.Required Skills & Abilities
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in assembly or related technical roles.Proficient in working with small to medium-sized components and assemblies.Advanced skills in precision assembly of miniature parts.Thorough understanding of IPC and MIL standards.Familiarity with ISO and AS quality controls and regulatory requirements.Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols and safe handling procedures.Skilled in the application and handling of epoxies and bonding agents.High school diploma or equivalent required.Competent in the use of a wide range of hand tools and micro-tools.Capable of performing detailed assembly tasks under a microscope.You should be proficient in :
