Transition Specialist

Domain : Banking / Financial Job Title : Securities Operations Representative 2 (Transition Specialist) Location : Dallas, TX 75205 Duration : 3 months (High Chances of Extension - will extend up to 24 months and convert for a good resource) Pay Range : ($18-$20) hourly Shift : Monday-Friday - 9 AM to 5 PM EST Location : The position is a traveling role that requires the applicant to travel all across the country and is fully expensed. Travel schedule : Around 2-10 weeks at a time. Required Skills : Fresh out of college, looking for a job (any background) – Excited to travel across the USA with good communication skills. Any banking / financial background person (comfortable with traveling). Willing to work some holidays / weekends (Not major holidays). MUST have their own charge card / credit card for expenses on the road. Team player, Assertiveness – Must make a GOOD first impression. The position is a Traveling role (75-90%) that requires the applicant to travel all across the country and is fully expensed. MUST have their own charge card / credit card for expenses on the road (Food and Travel), which will be reimbursed later by the organization. Roles and Responsibilities : The team’s responsibility is running field transitions, which means meeting with the external firm's Financial Advisors in search of the new firm. This team will meet the Financial Advisors in person and help with transferring the asset / brokerage book of business accounts over to the internal systems. Some transitions can be smaller (200 customer accounts) or larger (10k+ customer accounts). 2-3 weeks of training before being sent on transitions. Meet face-to-face with external firm Financial Advisors and partners to transfer customer accounts to internal programs. First impressions / confidence are very important. Will work through different business channels (brokerage / assets / mortgage). Beta : New Accounts opening program. Can grow from Transition Specialist to Consultant to Team Lead. Must be willing to work and train others.
