Calibration Support Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring a Calibration Support Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities :

Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the full cycle of their equipment servicing and calibration process

Perform Nuclear Gauge Calibrations following established procedures and safety standards

Prepare and manage calibration records and certification documents for customer compliance needs

Build Standard Blocks and assist with assembly, testing, and maintenance of gauges

Clean, lubricate, and diagnose gauges for needed repairs

Monitor and manage inventory levels for service-related parts and materials

Support day-to-day shop operations, including pulling parts, packing shipments, receiving deliveries, and lifting items up to 50 lbs as needed

Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements :

Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and customer-focused approach

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is a plus

Experience in a calibration, testing, or technical service environment preferred

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
