About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Cath Lab CWR

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum Cardiac and vascular procedure experience required. Neuro procedure experience preferred. CCL experience required. Critical care experience highly preferred. Prior experience with EPIC and Sensis highly preferred.

License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.

Certifications : BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, Telemetry required.

Must-Have : ASN required. BSN preferred.

Description :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs.

Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiates assessments based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework.

Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

Manages care of patients.

Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.

Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

On-call required.

Weekends and holidays as needed.
