Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Compensation Partner for a designated sector(s), offering strategic advice and insights on compensation-related matters. Develop, implement, and continuously improve performance management frameworks, processes, and tools. Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure performance management practices support organizational objectives and values. Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on effective feedback, coaching, and performance conversations. Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and administering enterprise-wide compensation programs, including managing market and promotion budgets, updating annual pay ranges, and maintaining job classification guides. Conduct job evaluations, administer salary structures and pay grade levels, and ensure internal and market fairness for hires, promotions, and other salary actions. Prepare and deliver compensation-related training materials and programs to enhance organizational understanding of pay practices and policies. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior HR leaders to strategically address compensation needs and support organizational goals. Monitor and analyze compensation trends in government contracting, technology, and related industries, ensuring compliance with pay laws and best practices. Assist in participating in and managing compensation market surveys to leverage competitive data and identify market trends. Assist in the annual merit process and other enterprise-wide compensation initiatives. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the company's job family structure and enterprise-wide pay guides.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, human resources, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Compensation and at least 3 years in Performance Management. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze and present large datasets effectively. Proven expertise in data analysis with the ability to effectively interpret and communicate insights. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results. Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently under limited supervision. Sound judgment in safeguarding sensitive information and making informed decisions. This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday. Familiarity with MarketPay or similar compensation tools. Knowledge of labor markets in industries such as aerospace and defense, government contracting, data science, and / or cybersecurity.
