Job descriptionBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited university or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of applicable experience in equipment qualification development and implementation. Ability to contribute to the entire equipment qualification process from start to finish. Knowledge of IEEE Standards such as IEEE-323, 344, and 420 7-4.3.2. Experience or familiarity with NEI 18-04, Regulatory Guide 1.233, and related regulatory guides. Experience with vendor test facilities. Awareness of trends and activities in the nuclear industry related to equipment qualification. Adherence to strict quality assurance standards. Self-starter with the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Professional. Experience interacting with NRC staff. Project management experience and familiarity with project management tools. Strong communication skills. High trust, integrity, openness in communication, respect, and teamwork orientation. Position level and title will be determined based on qualifications. Type : Contract Location : Bellevue, WA (Onsite) Pay Range : $63-$80 / hr Export regulations require candidates to be U.S. Citizens, Legal Permanent Residents, or protected persons.

Position Title : Equipment Qualification Engineer - Electrical / I&C
Position Description : Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for an Equipment Qualification Engineer - Electrical / I&C.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist in the successful design and implementation of the equipment qualification program.
- Coordinate with design personnel to ensure new designs and design changes meet Equipment Qualification Program regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documentation in compliance with Equipment Qualification Programs, regulations, and quality standards.
- Interface with technical discipline teams at the company, partners, and contractors.
- Prepare and review technical materials such as test requirement documents and specifications.
- Review correspondence with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
- Assist with safety analysis report (SAR) revisions and preparation.
- Prepare or review equipment qualification regulatory evaluations.
