Perm Full-Time OB / GYN Laborist

An established and mission-driven health system in Davenport, IA is seeking a full-time OB / GYN Laborist to join its collaborative inpatient care team. This is a hospital-employed role supporting a high-volume labor and delivery unit and working closely with certified nurse midwives and a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) partner. Position Highlights
Schedule : 24-hour in-house shifts (approx. 6 8 shifts / month)
Call : No separate call full-time hospitalist coverage
Volume : 80 deliveries / month
Scope : OB triage, labor & delivery, ER consults, post-op / postpartum rounding
Model : Integrated care with CNMs, anesthesia, NICU, and OB / GYN specialists
Program Development : Help launch a 24 / 7 OB hospitalist model in partnership with an FQHC
Employment : Full-time only (not a locum tenens role)
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified in OB / GYN
Active IA medical license or ability to obtain
Clean malpractice history preferred
Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates (full-time roles only)
