Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.Five (5) years of experience in project management, construction, inspections, planning, design, permitting and / or general engineering.Licenses or certifications :
Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire.For Senior Engineer PE and Principal Engineer PE : Florida Professional Engineer License or registration as a Professional Engineer in another state and successfully obtain Florida P.E. Registration within nine (9) months of hire.Key responsibilities :
Oversees and develops project design criteria, specifications and budgets, prepares plans, obtains permits, provides cost estimates, develops time scheduling, and provides coordination and inspection review.Prepares Invitation to Bid packages in conjunction with Procurement and Legal Departments, reviews bid proposals for completeness, accuracy, and applicability to project budget.Negotiates and manages design service contracts with outside engineering agencies and professional consultants. Researches and develops defined scope of services.
