We're hiring a Project Engineer II to support large-scale infrastructure and heavy civil projects. This role bridges the field and office, assisting Project Managers in tracking operations, analyzing production data, and ensuring seamless project documentation. Approximately 75% of your time will involve field engagement—gathering measurements, coordinating with field crews, and supporting daily construction activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout in coordination with PMs and Superintendents
• Maintain and update look-ahead schedules, field measurements, and cost tracking
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, transmittals, daily diaries, dispatch orders, and material tracking documents
• Perform on-site data collection and measurement verification for progress payments
• Conduct safety inspections and submit incident reports as needed
• Coordinate and submit permit applications, change orders, purchase orders, and subcontract documentation
• Create and maintain extra work reports; track approval signatures and project logs
• Analyze daily production performance and report insights to management
• Maintain quality control documentation and ensure subcontractor compliance
• Attend project meetings, client updates, and site visits as required
• Serve as the PM's "eyes and ears" on the jobsite—reporting potential issues, budget variances, or delays
