As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will engage with employees, visitors, and guests to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment. Pay Rate : $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time

Fri 10 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sat 10 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping in mind the unique needs of a tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or hazards to management or appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and guests at the location.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
