ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handles reservations utilizing Opentable.com and maintains seating charts
• Meet and greet guests, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table.
• Presents menu to guests and answers questions regarding food and service.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings and organize seating.
• Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
• Monitor restaurant for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
• Assists food and beverage staff with side-work as needed.
• Responds to guest inquiries friendly and efficiently ensuring the needs of the guest are met in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to communicate information effectively to management and guests.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• ServSafe Certification Required.
• Bassett Certification Required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift / push / pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, twist, squat, reach and walk with ease.
• Stand constantly.
