Dining Interview Team Member

Participate in interview panels for dining line-level, student positions, and supervisory positions. Submit completed interview guides and recommendations to UHD HR in accordance with established procedures. Make informed, consistent, business focused hiring recommendations and decisions. Regularly interact with the Dining Administrative Manager and UHD HR to ensure smooth processes flow and troubleshoot as needed. Support team efforts by attending training sessions to enhance interview skills and knowledge of best practices. Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality of information. Engage regularly with dining teams to understand unit and department goals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dining units and their operational needs. Occasionally work in dining units. Leverage food service and hospitality expertise, along with operational knowledge, to support the needs of Dining operations. Assist Dining new hires with onboarding logistics after completion of HR requirements, tasks and training. Support dining units with new employee experience such as uniform and equipment distribution, and knowledge of dining locations. Conduct check-ins with Dining new hires and report feedback to the Dining Administrative Manager to support employee engagement and retention. Provide administrative support to various areas throughout Dining. Assist in Dining job fairs in coordination with the Administrative Manager and UHD HR. Help organize participation from Dining leadership and staff for hiring events.
