Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) with professional school experience, supporting K-12 students in a structured educational environment. Located in Grady, NM, this role offers a full academic year contract within a vibrant K-12 school setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Assist in the assessment and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster student communication development.
Qualifications :
Valid New Mexico SLPA license is required.Demonstrated experience working within professional school settings.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.Location and Schedule :
