Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in a K-12 school setting, based in Portales, NM. The role involves providing onsite speech-language support and rehabilitation services aligned with student needs throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the chance to work within a dynamic educational environment, assisting students with speech and language development under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12
• Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and session outcomes
• Communicate effectively with families and school personnel regarding student development and therapy goals
• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and therapy activities
