JOB SUMMARY :

Prepare and spray paint parts and assemblies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

I.Prepares surfaces and uses spray gun or other methods to apply primer or other painted surfaces tosmall parts and assemblies on a routine or repetitive basis.

A.Selects and adjusts spray gun in accordance with instructions, performs masking andsanding duties as required prior to painting and checks own work for coverage.

II.Performs dip painting as required. May perform stencil operations.

III.Mixes paint according to specifications.

IV.Adjusts and cleans spray gun and equipment or other company tools checked out for performing jobassignments with appropriate solvants.

V.Keeps immediate work area clean and orderly and works in accordance with general safety practices.

VI.Responsible only for own work and quality of own work.

VII.Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION :

Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Requires the ability to read, write and follow instructions. May be required to complete department-specific certifications.

EXPERIENCE :

0 - 3 months spray painting, masking and cleaning experience.
