The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Neuro - Interventional Radiology Technologist - Permanent + Relocation Bonus , working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Florida, United States .
This role is located in Columbia, South Carolina
Responsibilities :
- Performs all procedures proficiently and strives to maintain high quality.
- Assists Radiologists and / or Physician with invasive procedures using aseptic / sterile technique.
- Properly prepares and administers contrast materials associated with imaging procedures that are within the scope of practice as prescribed by a physician or in approved Radiology protocol.
- Prepares room for procedures using approved cleaning protocol. Appropriately discards sharps and maintains adequate level of supplies and linen.
- Assures that proper radiation safety measures are being utilized.
- Knows and implements emergency procedures as needed.
- Performs department and hospital related computer functions pertinent to job.
- Enters and records data accurately and promptly.
- Exhibits competency in performing QC tasks associated with equipment and procedures and ensures standards are met according to state and federal regulations
- Stays abreast of organizational, affiliate and departmental changes / updates by checking email on each shift.
- Participates independently in call rotation.

Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- 1 year experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, or diagnostic radiology
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
- Registered in primary modality within 18 months
- ARRT registered
- SCRQSA certification
- BLS certification
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Operation of diagnostic imaging equipment / computers, must be computer literate and ability to treat patients of all ages
- Epic Radiant preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (fax / copier)
- Data entry
- Mathematical skills
