Key Responsibilities :
- Build, configure, and deploy applications and servers in a hybrid environment (on-prem and Azure).
- Monitor production environments, proactively identify issues, and raise incidents through established control processes.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Collaborate with Dev, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to ensure reliable and efficient deployments.
- Support ongoing modernization efforts to increase Azure footprint (targeting 35% Azure by next year).
- Troubleshoot performance issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
- Document operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of application build and deployment pipelines (CI / CD).Experience with server management , both physical and virtualized.Solid background in production monitoring and incident management .Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar).Experience working in hybrid environments (currently 85% on-prem / 15% Azure).Soft Skills & Cultural Fit :
Minimum 10 years of experience in large enterprise IT environments."Battle-tested" -able to stay calm and effective under pressure.Comfortable navigating significant organizational and technical change .Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through .Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.Top 3 must haves' technical skills wise :
