Maintenance Technician will maintain the physical integrity and operational efficiency of the warehouse by performing routine preventive maintenance, responding to emergency repairs, and completing general upkeep on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities involve conducting building and ground maintenance, managing repairs on material handling equipment, responding to security and fire alarms, and coordinating with external contractors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Preventive Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance on the warehouse building, equipment, and systems, such as HVAC, lighting, and plumbing, to prevent breakdowns.
• Emergency Repairs : Respond to building-related emergencies, including alarm systems (fire, security) and urgent equipment failures, often requiring off-hours availability.
• Mechanical and Electrical Repairs : Perform repairs on various equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Facility Upkeep : Complete general cleaning, painting, and patching to maintain facility appearance, safety standards, and operational readiness.
• Equipment Management : Operate and maintain material handling equipment, ensuring it functions safely and efficiently.
• Vendor Coordination : Contact and schedule external contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs that are outside the scope of in-house capabilities.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all maintenance performed, upcoming service schedules, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure all maintenance and repair work adheres to safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communication : Communicate effectively with warehouse management and staff regarding maintenance issues, schedules, and safety concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Hours : Mon. – Fri. 6 : 00 am-2 : 30pm (overtime as needed)

Pay rate : $30.00 (depending on Experience)
