As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to responsibly carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access. Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and report findings according to established protocols. Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or vendors while maintaining a visible presence. Assist in controlling access to restricted areas according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements : Applicants must have 5 or more years of security-related experience. Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
