HiFyve is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic in the Construction Equipment industry in Houston, TX !

Salary : $35–$50 / hour DOE

Shift : Full-time, Day Shift

Location : Houston, TX (Field-based)

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment in the field.
Develop repair plans and perform quality repairs.
Complete service reports, parts requests, and warranty paperwork.
Communicate repair status to supervisors and customers.
Maintain service truck, tools, and work area.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Use company systems for parts and tool tracking.
Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate Degree or 4 years apprenticeship experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Experience with heavy equipment and service tools

Understanding of safety procedures

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license with clean record
