Vice President, Customs Brokerage
Toll Global Forwarding, USA is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Customs Brokerage to lead our U.S. customs operations. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the growth of our customs brokerage product, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and audit readiness.
Preferably based at our Long Beach, CA headquarters, the VP will oversee a national team of customs professionals, collaborate closely with sales and operations, and serve as the subject matter expert for all customs-related matters.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. Head of Customs Product Growth & Sales Enablement
Serve as the strategic owner of the Customs Brokerage product across the U.S.Partner with commercial and sales teams to drive joint go-to-market strategies and revenue growth.Develop and execute product strategies to expand market share and enhance customer value.Represent the customs product in customer engagements, RFPs, and strategic sales initiatives.Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities.2. Operational Leadership Entry Writing & Customer Satisfaction
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of entry writers and customs professionals across multiple locations.Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant customs clearance processes.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.Implement and monitor KPIs to ensure service excellence and accountability.3. Compliance & Audit Oversight
Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and other relevant government agencies.Oversee internal audits and manage external audits with regulatory bodies.Develop and maintain robust compliance programs, SOPs, and training for the customs team.Serve as the primary liaison with CBP and other regulatory agencies.Job Requirements
Essential Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; or equivalent through experienceValid U.S. Customs Broker License required.Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in customs brokerage, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of driving revenue growth through product leadership and sales collaboration and P&L ownership.Deep understanding of U.S. customs regulations, HTS classification, PGA requirements, and trade compliance.Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.Demonstrated success in leading audits and implementing compliance frameworks.Key Skills & Competencies
