About The Position

Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Profession : Cath Lab Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-Hour Days

Hours per Shift : Monday-Friday 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience required

License : RCIS required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS required

Must-Have : RCIS Tech experience, ability to scrub in

Description :

The position involves performing cardiac catheterizations, peripheral catheterizations, VNUS closure, and interventional radiology procedures.

The equipment utilized includes XIM software and x-ray.

The position requires a 33% call coverage, with a call team consisting of 2 registered nurses and 1 technologist.

The facility has 1 lab and 1 procedure room.

The individual will scrub into cases and will receive training for each procedure.

A preceptor will be assigned for guidance and competency assessment.

No floating to other units or departments is required.

This role does not involve nursing responsibilities, and the nurse to patient ratio is not applicable.

Call coverage is required until 5 : 00 PM daily, with no weekends or holidays involved.

The candidate must have the ability to perform cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and occasional interventional radiology cases.
