About The Position

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Big Spring, TX. This position is a locums opportunity in a Level 4 trauma center, providing critical emergency care services. The facility includes 6 ED beds, 1 Trauma bed, and 2-3 Fast Track beds, handling an annual ER volume of approximately 13,800 patients. You will be part of a dedicated group of 5 ED physicians, ensuring comprehensive care for a wide range of medical conditions.  As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care. Your duties will include stabilizing patients with life-threatening injuries or illnesses, conducting thorough evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. You will collaborate with a skilled team of nurses and support staff, utilizing the fast track system to efficiently manage patients with less severe conditions.

Requirements :

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Texas State License
• Certifications : Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• DEA License with Texas State Registration
