Research Technician II

A company is looking for a Research Technician II to work in South San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Perform protein purification, reconstitution, and structure determination of DNA-protein complexes using cryoEM

Develop functional biochemical assays to assess the mechanism of action of multi-subunit protein complexes

Utilize state-of-the-art facilities for structural biology workflows

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with experience or recent master's graduate with relevant experience

Experience with one or more biochemical or biophysical assays (e.g., Spectrophotometric, ELISA, WB)

Familiarity with cryoEM or mammalian cell culture functional assays is a plus

Ability to work onsite, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm

Available for a 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
