Job Description

Join a dedicated team providing cutting-edge Hematology and Oncology care at a comprehensive clinic shared with radiation oncology services. This role involves predominantly outpatient services with occasional inpatient consultations, and a support team includes multiple APPs, a genetic counselor, and research associates for oncology. The ideal candidate will enjoy a collegial environment and a robust support system for ongoing professional development. Key Details

Assignment Type : Locum Tenens
Setting : Outpatient Clinic
Start Date : January 5, 2026
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM; occasional night and weekend call
Patient Population : All Ages
Location : Marquette, MI
Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care focusing on Hematology and Oncology

Participate in weekly tumor boards and collaborate with the oncology research department

Manage approximately 10-15 patients daily in an outpatient setting

Engage with interdisciplinary team members, including genetic counselors and pharmacists

Qualifications

Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology

Active BLS and ACLS certifications

Experience with EMR systems, particularly ONCO EMR

Strong clinical background with a focus on patient-centered care

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Occasional night and weekend call

Skills

Expertise in diagnosing and treating a range of hematologic and oncologic conditions

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to quality care and continuous medical education
