Complete Description :

This role is designed to support financial analysis and forecasting for security products and services within the agency. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and possess foundational knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. While a background in security technologies is helpful, the agency is open to training candidates with strong financial skills who are eager to learn about security-related products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Analysis and Forecasting : Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting for security products and services within the agency.
• Budgeting Models : Develop and maintain budgeting models to support product and service funding requests, execution, and cost management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT security, procurement, and compliance to align financial strategies with agency goals.
• Monitor Financial Performance : Monitor and report on financial performance against approved budgets, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Procurement and Contract Support : Support procurement and contract negotiations with vendors from a financial perspective.
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis : Analyze life cycle costs and support cost-benefit evaluations for new security initiatives and technology acquisitions.
• Financial Viability Evaluation : Assist in evaluating the financial viability of new security products or enhancements.
• Reporting and Briefings : Provide clear, concise financial reports and briefings for senior leadership and oversight bodies.
• Process Improvement : Support continuous improvement of financial processes and systems related to security program funding and expenditure tracking.
