Senior Accounting Manager

Cox Consulting Network (CCN) has been retained by one of our clients in search of a Senior Accounting Manager.

We're partnering with a well-established company seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team in Austin, TX. This high-impact role reports to the Controller and is responsible for leading the Corporate Accounting team, driving operational excellence, and supporting cross-functional initiatives across finance, operations, M&A, HR, tax, and more.

This position has a hybrid schedule and requires working in the office 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strong foundation in accounting, controls, and team development.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the vision, performance, and structure of the Corporate Accounting function
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Ensure strong internal controls and SOX compliance
• Manage audit relationships and support both internal and external audits
• Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements
• Support financial integration efforts for acquisitions
• Review and analyze key balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members at various levels
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support ongoing business needs
