The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, reviewing new patient registration, entering patient information into the practices designated system, requesting, and collecting co-pays / outstanding balances at the time of check-in / check-out. This individual is responsible for taking accurate messages and routing correspondence efficiently. Serves as a liaison between patients and medical support staff.

• Welcomes patients, accurately updates, and verifies patient demographics
• Maintains practice operational flow by communicating patients status to appropriate team members
• Requests co-pay and outstanding balances on patient account at time of check-in
• Accurately documents appropriate information within the designated office system to maintain accurate records
