We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and lead a small AP team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a solid accounting background, and the ability to improve processes and maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities of the AP Manager Role :

Oversee the preparation, verification, and payment of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Manage the AP team, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, providing training, and conducting performance reviews.

The AP Manager will maintain and reconcile AP ledger accounts, financial statements, and reports, ensuring compliance with policies and controls.

Develop and implement AP policies, procedures, and process improvements to maximize efficiency and maintain internal controls.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate purchase order processing and resolution of discrepancies.

The AP Manager will track and report AP metrics and provide regular updates to management.

Participate in month-end closing and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications of the AP Manager Role :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
