Sales Operations Project Manager - Reports to the CFO

About the job

As the Sales Operations Project Manager working in Finance to support the Commercial organization in Garden City, New York, you will develop processes to drive efficiencies to support Regional Business & Account Managers. As super user of the CRM system that supports the US business, you'll be responsible for enabling our Sales teams and ensuring that they are empowered with the right tools, processes, and data to succeed. From optimizing "lead management" (pipeline) to supporting reporting needs and improving our Salesforce setup, you'll be instrumental in turning commercial strategy into actionable, system-driven and sustainable outcomes.

In This Role, You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in business operations, sales operations, business consulting or a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of and hands-on experience with Salesforce, MS Excel, and implementation / adaptation of Business Intelligence tools
  • Ability to understand Account Management (Sales) strategies and translate business input into technical requirements
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives, Including excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a global organization
  • Experience with data analysis and making sound business recommendations to management based on strategic objectives
  • Understanding of Medical Device landscape and the Hospital / Healthcare world
  • Highly motivated, analytical, work autonomously, proactive, strong team player, but still a self-starter with the will and ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Medical Device, biotech or manufacturing (product launch) industry experience
  • Salesforce Administrator (dashboard creation) skills
  • NetSuite experience
  • How You'll Make An Impact

  • Ensure systems are in place and data are accurate and current to capture and report on Account Management KPIs - including developing reports, processes and integration roadmaps for various systems, and ongoing data integrity in the CRM system
  • Manage and collaborate cross-functional projects from inception to completion, focusing on improving productivity and simplifying processes for the entire Commercial team
  • Collect feedback and conduct analysis to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for process improvement. Translating these insights into actionable recommendations and technical requirements
  • Influence and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful project execution
  • Communicate effectively across the organization by developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, providing regular updates to diverse stakeholder groups to ensure clarity and alignment
  • What You'll Do

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Partner with sales leadership and finance teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and prioritize development efforts.

    Process Optimization

    Identify inefficiencies in existing sales and CRM processes, and drive technical solutions to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve overall productivity.

    Technical Domain Expertise

    Leverage technical knowledge of Salesforce and related tools and ensure best practices are followed.

    Project Management

    Lead the end-to-end execution of CRM optimization projects, including planning, stakeholder communication, and post-launch analysis.

    Stakeholder Management

    Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders, effectively communicate project status, manage expectations, and influence decision-making.

    Monitoring

    Establish objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for initiatives, monitor performance, and iterate on solutions to continuously improve effectiveness.
