Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team of professionals in our Portland, Maine branch location for a Monday - Friday, day shift role, selling and supporting our customers with a large variety of cabinet-making and storage solution products.

- Work closely with outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes; research pricing and availability for various items in multiple product categories

What We Are Looking For
- A motivated, customer-focused individual, eager to provide top-quality customer experiences when ordering or installing Richelieu products
- Adaptive, responsive to customer and team inquiries, and an excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person
- Prior retail, inside sales, or customer service experience is helpful, ideally at a desktop of office-based setting
- Knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry, kitchen / bath design, architectural hardware, or related building materials experience is helpful
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to prioritize tasks, organized, and highly comfortable with technology (uses AS400 database software daily)
- Strong sense of drive and creativity, ability to communicate persuasively and informatively with all types of customers and coworkers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Word, Outlook , and Excel for daily responsibilities and tasks
- AS400 experience is helpful, but is not required
