Job Description
Provide overall leadership and direction for field operations on large ground-up projects ($100M+), with a focus on K-12 and higher education builds. Manage daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Lead, mentor, and develop field staff and junior superintendents to foster strong team performance. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality work. Enforce strict safety standards, compliance regulations, and risk management protocols across the jobsite. Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and timely resolution of issues. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, proactively addressing challenges to minimize delays. Oversee project documentation, reporting, and closeout activities with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction. Build and maintain effective relationships with school districts, university stakeholders, and other project partners.

The Successful Applicant
Brings years of superintendent experience, including leadership on large-scale ground-up projects ($100M+). Proven track record delivering K-12 and higher education facilities on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop field teams and junior superintendents. Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and building codes. Strong communicator, able to build trust and collaborate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders in the education sector. Adept at schedule management, risk mitigation, and conflict resolution in complex, fast-paced environments. Tech-savvy, with experience using construction management software and reporting tools. Hands-on, proactive problem solver with a reputation for maintaining high safety and quality standards.
