As a result of our continued growth, Riedel Communications is looking to hire a talented and motivated candidate to join our Global IT Team.
Responsibilities
- Technical IT support at the Santa Clarita office
- IT user support in the service desk for location staff and employees at other locations within the Riedel Group
- Telephone reception and recording of malfunctions in the ticket system
- Error analysis and troubleshooting
- Forwarding of tickets to downstream departments
- User administration via Active Directory and / or Microsoft 365
- Collaboration in the coordination of the end device life cycle and the maintenance of the system software
- End device support (PC technology including software configuration, mobile devices, peripherals)
- Collaboration in projects and assumption of responsibility in sub-projects
- Distribution of installation packages for new product releases and software updates via central software distribution Matrix42
- Server administration in the area of VMware / Windows
- Network administration at the Santa Clarita location with components from the manufacturer Aruba
- Support of other IT colleagues in Montreal and Germany
What You Bring To The Table
Proven relevant technical experience or Bachelors Degree in Information Systems / Computer ScienceExperience with productivity applications such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, spreadsheets, web browsers, etcSome experience with networking infrastructure such as routers, firewalls, access points and switches and their rolesExperience with Help Desk work and order ticketing systemsDemonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude and an aptitude for service is requiredExcellent interpersonal skills are required, including verbal and written communicationsDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team is requiredWhat Riedel Offers You
