American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 3-5 years of post-training experience and current RVT or RVS credential for a weekday ambulatory lab role.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an ambulatory Vascular Surgery LabWork schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMDedicated to vascular sonography, not general ultrasoundCaseload includes carotid duplex, venous duplex (DVT, reflux, mapping), arterial physiologic and duplex (upper / lower extremities), bypass graft and stent surveillance, abdominal / visceral (renal, mesenteric), and EVAR surveillanceUse of digital reporting systems and PACS; Epic EMR experience preferredRole requires independent work in a highly specialized vascular lab settingRequires demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal orientationCollaboration with surgeons, APPs, and trainees in a clinic setting is expectedPreferred backgrounds include IAC-accredited vascular lab experience or academic teaching hospital experienceExperience precepting trainees, fellows, or residents is valuedNo local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facilityPrevious employees must have a 6-month break before being consideredAll requested days off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of considerationParking costs may be up to $43 per day\n \n Requirements\n
3-5 years of full-time, post-training experience in a dedicated vascular ultrasound labCurrent RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential requiredBLS certification is requiredProven competency in the full spectrum of vascular testing detailed aboveStrong communication and concise reporting skills neededProficiency with digital reporting systems and PACS necessaryEpic or similar EMR experience is preferredMA license required if applicableClinical rotations, internships, or student placements do not count toward required experienceDocumentation of flu and COVID-19 vaccine (with booster); medical exemptions are permitted\n Benefits\n
