Position Summary :

The Center for Pre-College Programs is in need of STEM Teachers for various Engineering based Saturday and Summer 2026 instruction. The teacher will work with high achieving students in various STEM related classroom instruction.

Teacher / Instructor provides inquiry-based, product-oriented instruction for the students that will enhance students' knowledge, understanding and application of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) content / concepts, study skills, thinking skills, problem solving strategies and communication skills.

Currently seeking teachers for the following subjects and grade levels for Saturdays and Summer Program 2026 :

• Computer Science - grades 5-11
• Robotics - grades 5-11
• English Language Arts - grades 5-8
• Mathematics - grades 5-11
• Environmental, mechanical, industrial, civil, biomedical, electrical, and computer engineering
• Physical education grades 5-11
• College and Career Readiness Teacher / Counselor

Salary Information :

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate / range for this position is $50.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
